

She was born in San Angelo, Texas on December 29, 1978 to parents Donald Ray Johnson and Gloria Lynne Andrews Johnson.
Michelle was a hard-working woman who loved her family with all her heart. She was a great mother and wife who would do anything for her family. She was an active woman who enjoyed staying busy. After earning her G.E.D. Michelle proudly continued her education online earning two separate degrees, one in environmental science and the other in corrections. Michelle worked many odd jobs in her younger days until she found her passion in the criminal justice field, starting as a dispatcher then working her way to a jailer before she started as a corrections officer for TDCJ where she worked until her passing. Her spare time was spent with her loving family, listening to music, fishing, traveling, going to school functions, and spending time at the golf course.
Michelle is survived by her husband Jason Strube of Colorado City, her children Brandon Bishop and fiancé Mikayla Mauzey of Colorado City and Beau Bishop of Colorado City, by her grandson Levi Roper also of Colorado City, her mother Lynne Heimann of Colorado City, and by a half brother Charles Heimann of London, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father Donald Johnson.
No services are scheduled at the time and will be held privately at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kiker Seale Funeral Home.
