Patrick Joe Rodriquez

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at St. Ann Catholic Church, Colorado City Texas. A visitation is planned from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2024 and Rosary to follow from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home, Colorado City Texas.

Patrick was born on May 5, 1968 in Haskell, Texas and a high school graduate of Paint Creek High School. He was a dedicated husband to Amy Rodriquez and father to Diego, Marissa, and Anna. He worked as a public servant with the Texas department of criminal justice and for the county sheriff's department for many years, where he met several of his friends.

He had a giant heart and a gift for making friends with anyone he met. He never met a stranger and was always up for a good conversation. Patrick was the family’s social butterfly and made sure to stay connected with his family and friends. His daily and weekly phone calls will be a precious memory for a countless number of family and friends.

He had a great sense of humor and was always quick with a funny joke or witty comment. He loved to make people laugh and was a natural entertainer. He had a talent for cooking and was known for his delicious BBQ. Golfing with his brothers, uncles and cousins and fishing with his grandkids will always be a cherished memory.

Most of all, he loved his grandbabies, Zaydren, Lucia, Noemi and Paxton, and he spent countless hours playing and laughing with them. He was a true family man who always prioritized his loved ones and ensured they were happy and cared for.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He had a beautiful soul and a charismatic personality that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Patrick is preceded in death by his father and mother, Jose and Janie Rodriquez, his maternal grandparents, Jose and Otilia Gonzales, his paternal grandparents, Maximino and Felicita Rodriquez and numerous extended family members.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Amy Rodriquez, three children, son Diego DeHoyos, daughters Marissa Lara and Anna Lopez and husband Arnaldo Lopez. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Zaydren Brice, Lucia Lopez, Noemi Lopez and Paxton DeHoyos. He is also survived by his sister Deborah Gonzales and husband Robert Gonzales, brothers Michael Rodriquez and Greg Rodriquez and fiancé Courtney Rohde, and brother-in-law Philip Castro and wife Linzee Castro. In addition, he is survived by 3 nieces, Vanessa Hight, Cecelia Gonzales and Lanee Castro and 4 nephews, Robert Gonzales III, Trebor Gonzales, Jordan Rodriquez and Jayden Rodriquez, as well as 6 great nieces and 6 great nephews. Lastly, Patrick is survived by a great many and very dear number of cousins, aunts and uncles.

Rest in peace our dear Patrick. You will remain in our hearts forever.
