Paula Ann Winkle

She was born on April 26, 1946 in Fredrick, Oklahoma to Paul and Julia Winkle. At age 16 Paula and her family relocated to Colorado City, Texas. In 1964 she graduated from Texas Tex.

Paula was a loving and caring woman who devoted her life to God and family. She was known to just about everyone as “Granny”. In her free time she could be seen watching birds or taking in the sights of beautiful flowers. Paula enjoyed dancing with her favorite partner Perry and had a love for Elvis Presley gospel music. She spent the majority of her life as a beautician and was known for her quick witted responses. Paula was truly a very sweet woman.

She is survived by her sons Perry (Sheila) Donnell off Midland, TX, Ronnie (Tina) Sumruld of Colorado City, TX and her daughter Connie Sumruld of Colorado City, TX. Grandchildren: Perry Keith Donnell Jr., Skye Sumruld, Shelbie Sumruld, and Ronnie Max Sumruld. She is also survived by her great-grandson Peyton Keith Donnell. Predeceased by her son Terry Max Sumruld and her parents Julia and Paul Winkle

Visitation for Paula was held Friday evening June 3rd from 6 – 8pm at the Kiker-Seale Funeral Home. A Funeral service for Paula was held on Saturday June 4th at 10:30am at New Life Bible Ministry. Interment followed at Colorado City Cemetery.
