

Shirley Marie Wyrosdick Cline, 54, of Big Spring, formerly of Colorado City, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013, at Midland Memorial Hospital. She had recently retired as laboratory supervisor from Scenic Mountain Medical Center in Big Spring after 17 years on the job. As a single mother, Shirley raised two sons. She was strongly involved in Scouting, acting as Den Leader of her sons' Cub Scout Den in Colorado City and helping out with Boy Scout Troop 100 while her sons were in the Scouting program.
In 2001, Shirley met her husband, Roger Cline on the Internet. The couple enjoyed more than 10 years together, traveling, exploring, and sharing a love of life. Shirley loved to craft, sew, and research genealogy; several of the couples' trips together involved “cemetery hopping” to research and photograph tombstones of relatives and friends.
Mrs. Cline is survived by her husband Roger Cline of Big Spring; her son and daughter-in-law Bubba and Lee Ann Limones of Colorado City; her son and daughter-in-law Brian and Katrina Limones of Waite Park, MN; grandchildren Bradon, Lathan, Haelyn and Jayden; her sister Donna Boyd of Colorado City; her brother and sister-in-law Lonnie and Ruby Wyrosdick of Colorado City; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Sanderson.
Funeral service will be held 10 AM, Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Colorado City with Dr. Jerry Shields and Rev. Bobby Matlock officiating. Burial will follow at Dorn Cemetery. Family visitation will be Monday evening from 6 until 8 PM at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Joyful Noise, c/o First Baptist Church of Colorado City.
