.Loraine – Mr. Wesley Woods, age 73, of Loraine, died Saturday morning in a local care center. Services will be at 10 AM Tuesday in the Crockett & Smiley Church of Christ in Loraine. Burial will follow in the Loraine Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Woods was born September 9, 1937 in Loraine to Claude and Faye Carpenter Woods. He was a member of the Crockett & Smiley Church of Christ. He married Barbara Ann Puckett in 1982. She preceded him in death on October 14, 2003. He was a veteran of the US Air Force.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Shirley and husband, Charles McPeters of Loraine and Renee and husband Michael Kidd of Seattle, WA; a son, Josh and wife Bambi Beights of Fort Worth; 2 brothers: James Woods of Whitewright, TX and Laddie Woods of Monroe, LA and 3 grandchildren.
He is also preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Jerry
The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
