I grew up on the same street with David. He was my cousin. My mom and his mom Irene were sisters. One of my favorite memories of David is he let me borrow his treasured record albums including the Beatles White album. My husband Richard and I are so sorry to hear of his passing. Our condolences to all of his beautiful family. Love, cousin Mona

To Dave’s family, so sorry for your loss! I played softball with Dave for several years, and he was so much fun on the field, as well as a good competitive player. He will be missed! Rest In Peace, Dave.

Goodbye Dave! I enjoyed every minute with you! Such an enthusiastic skier but more than that— enthusiastic about life and people! Always positive, the glass was never empty with Dave! We had a great time in Whistler together, he was a daring and adventurous skier. Plus he adored his boys!! Spoke about them with great affection. And what a sense of humor! He was always smiling and lending a hand!

Dave, was truly an amazing man. I worked, played softball, skied and traveled overseas with Dave and he was always an absolute pleasure to be around. He taught me so much throughout the 20 years of being his friend. It was indeed an honor to know Dave and to call him a friend.

I met Dave when I hired into DEC in the 1980s. He was always energetic, a motivator, and considerate. Somewhere in the late 80s the DEC "gals" started a women's softball league. Dave volunteered to coach. Boy did we give him a hard time! He ran a "tight" practice and we'd irritate him when we arrived late or chatted too much or missed balls over and over. But he was always there for us, kept us organized, ordered jerseys, signed us up for leagues, and found players in a pinch. We all loved Dave and his enthusiasm to make us better. He was the glue to the team. We did this for a few years, always Dave coaching.

Off the field, at work Dave was always known to share a story and make people laugh. He was easy to be around and always made people feel included. He was diligent about executing his job responsibilities.

It was an honor to know him for many years at DEC.
