

COLUMBIA Ann Wickenberg Kelly Williamson, 56, died on October 24, 2014, at her home in Columbia after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Ann was a daughter of the late Charles Herbert Wickenberg Jr. and the late Margaret Gall Wickenberg. She was born in Columbia on March 11, 1958, grew up in Columbia and attended city schools, graduating from A.C. Flora High School in 1976. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with an associate’s degree in 1978, and before her illness, worked at Todd & Moore Sporting Goods, Blue Cross & Blue Shield, and the Wildewood Tennis Center. She was a lifelong member of St. Michael and All Angels’ Episcopal Church. Ann is survived by her children, Kelly Williamson Johnston (Billy) and Taylor Crawford Williamson, both of Columbia; grandchildren, Hayley Ann and Payton Breanna Johnston of Columbia; sisters, Nancy Wickenberg Cobb (G. Thomas) of Columbia and the Rev. Canon Elizabeth Wickenberg Ely, PhD (Duncan Cairnes) of Columbus, NC; nephews, Benjamin George Cobb, MD, of Palo Alto, CA, Charles Thomas Cobb of Columbia, and Penn Wickenberg Ely, Esq., of Charleston, SC. She also is survived by her ex-husband, Larry Dean Williamson of Columbia. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donnie Ray Kelly. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 28, 2014, at 3:30 p.m. at St. Michael and All Angels’ Episcopal Church at 6408 Bridgewood Road. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is Monday night from 5 to 7 p.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. Pallbearers will be Billy Johnston, Charlie Cobb, Penn Ely, John Gall, Rick Sprott, and Robert Praete. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Michael and All Angels’ Episcopal Church Endowment Trust Fund or the charity of your choice.
