Anne F. Coward

COLUMBIA - A memorial service for Anne Frick Coward, 85, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Coward passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024. Born in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Ross Frick and Merle Lake Frick. She was in the first graduating class at the Nursing School of Lander College. Anne worked for Richland School District Two as District Nursing Director. She loved to travel, dance, and spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Sassy Sisters of Blythewood.

Surviving are her two sons, Mark A. Coward (Stephanie), and Michael E. Coward (Rhonda); five grandchildren, Christopher Coward, Gabrielle Coward, Kyle Coward, Delson Coward, and McKenzie Lott; four great-grandchildren and niece, Donna Roddey, and her loving companion, Fred Petsolt.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Rudy Coward, her daughter, Sabra Coward Lott, Grand-daughter, Brandi Lott, her sister, Gloria Gene Roddey and niece, Maryann Roddey.
