COLUMBIA - Funeral service for Anthony “Tony” Joel Martin, 51, will be held at 12:00 noon Monday, November 24, 2014, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Anthony died suddenly at his home in Garden City on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Born in Columbia on January 22, 1963, he was the son of the late Annie Psillos Wood and Quincy Martin. He is survived by his sister Jolene Psillos Martin of Columbia.
By the Grace of God, Anthony was proudly living a clean and sober life for the last six years. Most recently Anthony was working towards a Master’s Degree in counseling with the goal of helping others.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Help 4 Kids, 12053 Highway 17 S. Byp., Murrells Inlet or a local AA group.
