

Betty Davis Stork was born in Columbia, SC in 1933. Betty was a lifetime resident of Columbia, growing up in the Eau Claire Community. She was the daughter of the late Walter Edward Davis and Amos Julia Shannon Davis. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Betty packed a lot into her long and beautiful life. She was a smart and hardworking business woman, culminating by serving as the vice president of her family business, Colony House Furniture Co. She was also a talented artist, delighting her family and friends with her drawings and paintings.
Her greatest joy was derived in her love and dedication to Jesus Christ through her Catholic faith and her committed service at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Betty was predeceased by her husband, Fred F. Stork, son-in-law Michael Hoover, and daughter-in-law Peggy Pitts Stork. She is survived by her sister Margie Davis Cannon, her daughter Karen Hoover, son Fredrick F. Stork Jr. (Cathy), grandsons, Brandon Hoover and Flynn Stork, and great-grandsons Bodie Hoover and Fritz Stork.
Service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3600 Devine Street, Columbia, SC, with a graveside service at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
