Bonnie Ann Wilcox Scarborough

COLUMBIA - Bonnie Ann Wilcox Scarborough, 63, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 29, 2016, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, SC. Bonnie was born on June 2, 1952, in Randolph, VT; the daughter of Gordon and Catherine Ann Richards Wilcox. She graduated from Rutland High School and worked as an Associate Buyer for Magrams, The Fashion Shop, in Burlington, VT for many years. She later served as The Director of The Cambridge House in Columbia, SC. Bonnie was known for her compassion and nurturing ways. Her laughter and smile could fill a room with love. She also held animals close to her heart because of their unconditional love. Bonnie fulfilled her calling on earth and caused a ripple effect on the hearts and souls of those she touched. Forever in our hearts she will be and we will all miss you, Bonita! We love you. Bonnie is survived by her mother and father, Catherine Ann and Gordon Wilcox of Williston, VT; three sisters: Debbie Wilcox, Mary Magee (Bob), Patty Fosse (Gary), and one special brother, Douglas Wilcox (Louise); six nephews, two nieces and one great niece. A memorial service to celebrate Bonnie’s life will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2016, at Jones Memorial Baptist Church, 2400 Barhamville Road, Columbia, SC 29204.
