COLUMBIA - Cynthia Gibson Brewer, age 56, of Columbia, South Carolina passed away unexpectedly early on Saturday, October 8, 2022. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, October 14, 2022 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. prior to the service. Cynthia was born December 4, 1965 in Columbia.
A lifelong resident of Columbia, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved spending time with her family, going to the beach, searching for sharks teeth, listening to music. Music was a large part of her life.
Survivors include her mother, Betty Gibson; her sister, Melina Bridges; her sons, Steven (Emily) Brewer, Christopher Brewer and James Brewer; 4 grandchildren, Riley Brewer, Skylar Brewer, Aiden Nash, and Hailey Brewer; and godson, Jackson Brewer.
