

Born in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late Troy Lee McLemore and Ada Davis McLemore. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Cindy graduated from Wildewood Academy in Columbia and later married the love of her life, Roger. She worked for Willis of South Carolina as a Surety Client Manager for over 25 years. Cindy always had a tremendous passion for gardening and outdoor activities. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling and spent much of her time at the beach and the Caribbean with her dearest friends. She was also an avid Gamecock fan and enjoyed tailgating and attending Gamecock basketball games. Cindy was a dedicated mother and she especially loved her role as Mema. She had a vivacious personality and always made those around her laugh. She made new friends everywhere she went, especially during her travels. Through her travels, she met her second love, Jack W. Smith, III and together they shared some amazing adventures. Cindy was a beautiful soul and her memory will live on through all of the hearts that she touched throughout her life.
Surviving are her daughter, Christina Partin-Jones and her husband Nathaniel of Columbia, SC; grandson, Troy Alexander Partin-Jones; sister, Carolyn M. Adams of Columbia, SC; and nephew, Chip Adams and his wife Meredith of Charleston, SC; great-nieces, Conley and Catherine Adams of Charleston, SC; and a host of close relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Roger F. Partin and later, her partner, Jack W. Smith, III.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers or to a charity of one's choice.
