COLUMBIA - Graveside service for Elizabeth K. Addy, 91, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015, in Salem United Methodist Churchyard. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2015, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo. Mrs. Addy died June 2, 2015. Born October 6, 1923, in Irmo, she was a daughter of the late Jimmie Loyd Koon and Minnie Lee Weed. She was the third child of eight born to her parents and is survived by her son, Leon Timothy Addy; two brothers; and a sister. Known to her friends as “Lib” she was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. She retired from South Carolina National Bank where she worked as a bank teller. She was well liked by all who knew her and always had a kind word and warm heart for everyone. She always looked out for those who were less fortunate than her by giving them a helping hand. She will be missed by all who knew her.
