Faye McCullough Jeffcoat

Columbia, South Carolina - Faye McCullough Jeffcoat, aged 81, passed away on August 25, 2024, in Columbia, SC. Born on December 14, 1942, she was a cherished member of her community known for her kindness, humor, and beauty, both inside and out.

Faye attended Newberry College and was an active member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church, where her memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 29, followed by a reception in Thompson Hall. Her faith and commitment to her church community were profound and reflected in her daily life.

Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Abb Jeffcoat, Jr.; son, Abb Jeffcoat III; daughter, Lisa Jeffcoat; and brother, Larry McCullough.

An enthusiastic participant in various community groups, Faye was involved with The Gourmet Club, Symphony League, and The Columbia Garden Club. Many Christmases, she took joy in decorating the Governor's Mansion and Eastminster Presbyterian Church, bringing festive spirit to many. She was also an avid supporter of the South Carolina Gamecocks, shared countless joyful moments at Litchfield Beach, and adored her dog, Abby.
