James was the son of Carroll Sr. Eargle and Margaret (Summers) Eargle. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Carroll Jr., Frank, Neal, and Paul.
He is survived by his son Curtis Wayne Eargle; grandchildren Christina, Chris, and Chad; and great-grandchildren Aiden and Olivia (who brought him great joy).
James proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. His dedication to service reflected his strong character and sense of duty.
Professionally, James worked installing low voltage security systems, a career well suited to his natural ability with electronics. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on electronics, building wood models, and working on cars and motors. He was happiest when fixing, building, or improving something with his hands.
Above all, James loved his family. He was kind-hearted, steady, and dependable. Many will remember him in his signature short-sleeve button-down shirts, a simple reflection of the humble and hardworking man he was.
He leaves behind a legacy of service, craftsmanship, and love for his family that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
