COLUMBIA Funeral services for Jeanette H. Oliver, 79, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2015, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. Mrs. Oliver died Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Born in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late James Davis Hooks and Nina Mae Ray Hooks. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Jeanette loved and cherished her family, friends and grandchildren. She retired from Ft. Jackson Federal Credit Union and was a member of South Beltline Baptist Church. Surviving are her son, James Oliver of Irmo; daughter, Carol Fortner of Lugoff; brother, Eddie Hooks; grandchildren, Bradley Oliver, Emily Oliver, Nick Boatwright; sister-in-law, Edith Wilson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Warren Oliver and brother, Davis Hooks, Jr.
