Durham, NH - A private family service was held for Joseph Evora, M.D. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Columbia, SC. Dr. Evora, 86, died Monday, January 25, 2016. Born in Canary Islands, Spain, he was a son of the late Pedro Evora and Carmela Vargas. He practiced medicine in Durham, NH for 30 years. Surviving are his daughters, Isabel Evora of Columbia, SC and Jo Anna Hangland (Keith) of Centennial, CO; grandchildren, Adam Hangland and Katherine Hangland, both of Centennial, CO; sister, Carmela Evora and brother, Pedro Evora, both of Tenerife, Canary Islands. He was predeceased by his wife, Elisabeth Evora.
