Isaiah 41:10 NKJV
This scripture is what Bailey believed and frequently reminded and encouraged his family with in difficult times.
Lonnie John “Bailey” Pratt was born on September 29, 2003, to his dedicated and loving mother and father, Melisa and Lance Pratt. He went home to be with Jesus on November, 29th, 2020. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Columbia, SC and was baptized May 26, 2013 at 9 years old. He was active in Sunday School and always assisted with Vacation Bible School in the summer.
Bailey attended A.C. Flora High School and was in his Junior year. He was an athlete at heart and enjoyed many sports, with a passion for baseball. He was a member of the A.C. Flora Baseball program, played travel ball, and was on the All-Star baseball team. Following high school, he hoped to attend the University of South Carolina and later join the military.
Bailey had an infectious smile, excellent hair, and was always an encouragement to his parents. He never removed his “Alden Strong” bracelet which was a true display of his commitment to caring for his older brothers, Alden and Colby.
Bailey was always a great friend and family member. He always made others laugh. Bailey was a daddy’s boy and was called “a good kid with a good heart”. He cherished his best buddy Max. Bailey loved the outdoors, especially bow hunting. He always had plans to go hunting and fishing with his dad, brothers, and friends.
Bailey is survived by his parents; two brothers, Alden & Colby Pratt; grandparents, Melody & Jody Hill and Susan & Charles Pratt; three very loved dogs; numerous extended family members and close friends.
