COLUMBIA Graveside service for Nancy Ann Burgess, 69, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016, in Carolina Memorial Park, North Charleston. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family. Ms. Burgess died Monday, May 2, 2016. Born in West Palm Beach, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Thomas B. Michalak Sr. and Harriett Gray Michalak. She attended the University of S.C. and retired from Pontiac Foods following 30 years of service. During her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, theatre and traveling. Surviving are her sons, Thomas Troy Burgess (Chris Jarrett) of North Charleston, Ronnie W. Burgess Jr. (Gigi Johnston) of Elgin; grandson, Joshua Goad; and granddaughter, Amelia Johnston. She was predeceased by two brothers, Ronnie Michalak and Thomas B.
