COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Patricia "Pat" Chiulli will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Saint Michael's & All Angels' Episcopal Church, with entombment in Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:30 until 11:30 at Saint Michael's & All Angels' Episcopal Church. Mrs. Chiulli, widow of Americo Anthony Chiulli, died peacefully Wednesday, October 21, 2015 in her home twelve days after her 80th birthday, a milestone she strived to meet. Born in Yonkers, NY, she was the daughter of the late Earl Ward Lewis and Anna Bennis Lewis. Pat, Mom, Momma, Nana, and Mimi will be deeply missed by her family and her feline "baby", Tiger. Pat was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. Her compassion for her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren was evident by the beautiful home she maintained. She loved to cook and entertain and decorate for the holidays. Her yard was a showplace of beautiful flowers. Pat was an active member of Saint Michael's & All Angels' Episcopal Church. She served with the Trenholm Road Meals on Wheels, and years ago loved to travel with the Asbury Methodist Memorial Joy Club. Pat loved the Saint Mark's neighborhood "walking ladies" and appreciated the thoughtfulness they showed by placing the newspaper on her front porch when she was no longer able to join them. Surviving are her children, Deborah Gangone (Joseph) of Mahwah, NJ., Brian Chiulli (Susan) of Navarre, Florida, Michele Priester (Randy) of Columbia, Cyndi Chiulli of Oakland, NJ, Tony Chiulli (Stacy) of NYC; sisters-in-law, Alice Tringali of Fishkill, NY and Ann Lewis of Peekskill, NY; 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the members of Regency Hospice especially Kia Sharpe and Rex Peterson, the caregivers, Martha and Rhonda Dean, Lula Phoenix, Della Templeton, and Anika Scott for their care and compassion over the past several months. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Michael's & All Angels’ Episcopal Church, 6408 Bridgewood Road, Columbia, SC 29206.
