Perry Grant Collins II

COLUMBIA - A memorial service for Perry Grant Collins II, 45, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Beulah Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.

Mr. Collins died Sunday, November 12, 2023. Born in Columbia, he was a son of Perry Grant and Rita Nan Bennett Collins. He graduated from Thomas Sumter Academy and earned his Master’s degree from the University of S.C. He was employed as a Financial Planner with Edelman Financial. He loved to travel and spend time with his family and friends. But most of all, he loved his kids. He enjoyed swimming, grilling and spending time with nature. He was the funniest person you would ever meet. He loved to make people laugh.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Jessica Marie Bradley Collins; son, James Jessup Collins; daughters, Eliza Perry Collins, Margot Helena Collins; sister, Meagan Collins Cauthen (Matthew); mother and father-in-law, Helen Bradley and Tim Bradley; brother-in-law, Joshua Bradley (Ashlie); nephews and nieces, Savannah Bradley, Lacey Bradley, Natalie Bradley, Sullivan Bradley, Perry Cauthen, Hayne Cauthen; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
