COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Polly York Watts, 84, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Watts died Wednesday, April 15, 2026. Born in Etowah, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ollie York. She was a graduate of Etowah High School and the University of South Carolina. Over the years, Polly worked as a Radiation Tech at Prisma Baptist Hospital, Clerk of Court at Richland County, and at Rice Music House. She enjoyed music, especially when playing the piano and the organ.
Surviving is her son, Douglas York Watts.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert Watts.
