Priscilla Ann Guzman

Mrs. Guzman died Friday, January 17, 2025. Born in Roanoke, Alabama, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Rowland and Rosa Lee Traylor Rowland. A graduate of Kirkman High School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, she served in the U.S. Army and the National Guard from 1984 to 2023. She owned PJ Alterations from 1996 to 2008 and from 2010 to 2024, she was employed with the Civil Service Department of Defense in the United States Government. A believer in God, she loved being around her family and pets. Holidays were special to her, a time where she prepared her famous dishes. Priscilla loved remodeling her homes and working in the yard. She enjoyed making things new and better.

Surviving are her husband, Jose Antonio Guzman; children, Comesheyoung “Tisha”, Jose Guzman Jr. (Rita), and Shalaunda A. Guzman; grandchildren, Anidinita Sutton, Tamia Sutton, Rufus Sutton Jr., Adrian DeVille, and Antonio Guzman; and sisters, Evelyn Staples, Tammy Wise, Charlane Rowland; and brother, Willie Weaver.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Kenneth Weaver and Leonard Weaver.
