

Suzanne “Suzie” James, aged 69, passed away unexpectedly on February 5th, in Columbia, SC. She was born on June 14, 1954, in Chattanooga, TN to Francis Michael Dombrosky and Carmen Faye (Sims) Dombrosky. She is survived by her husband Dean, son Damen, daughter Dana (Orlando), son Daniel, adoring grandchildren Elijah & Olivia Soto, and sister Debby Bennett.
Suzie dedicated her life to nurturing and guiding her three children with an abundance of love and wisdom. She was a pillar of strength, offering unwavering support and encouragement to her family. Suzie’s favorite role was that of being a grandma. Her nurturing spirit extended to her role as a grandmother, where she found joy in creating lasting memories with her grandchildren. She treasured her time with them, never failing to miss a birthday or special holiday despite living far away. If she loved you distance didn’t matter, you were always close.
In addition to her role as a devoted mother, grandmother and wife, Suzie was a passionate Yoga Instructor and a Reiki Master. Her commitment to holistic well-being touched the lives of many, as she shared her knowledge and positive energy with those around her. Through her practice, she inspired others to find balance, peace, and harmony in their lives. Her presence was a beacon of light, offering comfort and support to those in need. Suzie filled our lives with warmth and gentle guidance. Her kindness knew no bounds, and her friendly spirit created a haven of love for all fortunate enough to know her. Suzie touched the lives of many with her gentle wisdom and compassionate heart and leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and a deep connection to life and nature.
Though she may have left this physical realm, the imprint of Suzie's spirit will forever linger in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. May her legacy continue to inspire us to embrace the beauty of nature, nurture our souls, and walk the path of compassion and love.
