COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Tracey Deidre Coulter, 50, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
Tracey passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019. Born in Bronx, NY, she was a daughter of Victor Coulter and Dionne Coutler.
Mom was a strong and passionate fighter for the things she loved. She always taught us to never take no for an answer and to always go after our dreams no matter what. Not only was she strong, but she put strength in all of us, which is why we are able to push through life no matter what may come our way.
Some of her favorite sayings were that she was “strong, but she was strong like a bull” and “love is bigger than cancer.” Mama always said, “You may forget my name, but you’ll never forget my face.”
In addition to her parents, surviving are her husband, Roosevelt Bolton; her children: her oldest daughter, Rhonda Jeffcoat; oldest son, Chet Heard; third oldest, Andria Lomax; fourth oldest, Kevin Lomax; fifth oldest, Adrian Clarke; sixth oldest, Cinnamon Clarke; and her baby boy, José Clarke. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jordan Jeffcoat, Kayla Lomax and Chet Heard, Jr.; her sisters, Victoria Mitchell and Dawn Ragland; brother, Dwayne Coulter; grandmother, Dolores Freeman; nieces, Jamie Coulter, Jessica Little, Sydney Benton, Alexandria Coulter, Chloe Coulter, Tatianna Coulter, and Jasmine McCoy; and nephew, Isaiah Coulter.
