Walter Clarence Noble, 94, of Columbia, SC, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, he was a son of the late Clarence Noble and Florence Chapman Grosso. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving on the USS Midway during World War II.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Joyce Smith Noble; daughters, Bonnie L. Smith (Dewey), Jolie M. Cooper, and Tammy Box (Gary); seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
