William John Duffy Jr.

COLUMBIA - A Christian Wake Service for William J. “Bill” Duffy Jr., 57, will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2016 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 20 2016 in Elmwood Cemetery. Mr. Duffy died Sunday, February 14, 2016. Born in Columbia, he was a son of William J. “Bill” Duffy Sr. and the late Sybil Graham Duffy. He attended the Columbia City Schools and graduated from Hammond Academy and University of South Carolina where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order. He enjoyed a career in Sales with Product Packaging Company of Atlanta, GA. He was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Surviving are his father of Columbia; brother, John M. “Mike” Duffy of Columbia; aunts, Iris Wright of Green Bay, WI and Betty Graham of Spartanburg; and numerous cousins. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by several maternal and paternal aunts and uncles.
