Alice P. Preston

She was born in Northfield, NH she came from a family of eight children and was the daughter of Philip and Delia (Brown) Gilbert.

Her first husband, Henry Dragon, passed away in 1968. She lived most of her life in Penacook, NH and married Edgar H. Preston in August 1971.

She worked with Edgar at his camera store, Dunlap Photo, in Concord. Edgar passed away on September 28, 2006. She also formerly worked for Beede Electric. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Penacook, NH.

She was an avid cribbage and card player and she loved Bingo.

She leaves her son Robert H. Dragon of Plymouth, NH; two grandchildren, Robert J. Dragon of Hebron, NH and Alicia Triplett of Auburn, NH; three great grandchildren; eight nieces and six nephews.

There will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 11am at Immaculate Conception Church in Penacook. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Penacook.

The Bennett Funeral Home, Concord, is in charge of arrangements.
