Born in Concord, she was the daughter of Bernard and Doris (Clark) Chase.
She was a graduate from Concord High school then worked for 35 years and the NH State Hospital. She enjoyed knitting for needy children.
Survivors include her four children; Douglas W. Abbott of Raymond, NH, Tracie A. Sunmonu of Concord, NH, Pamela J Burke of Manchester, NH and John Abbott of Manchester, NH, his grandchildren; Robert Burke and his fiancee, Joshua Abbott and Miranda Abbott, four great-grandchildren, her sister Edith Langley of Pembroke, NH, her brother Clarence C. Chase of Seaford, DE, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Otis W Abbott; her sisters, Betty Ann Chase, Elinor Laura McMannus, and Wilberta Murphy; her brother, George B Chase, and her grandchild Omo-Morin Sunmonu.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 5, 2025 from 10:00AM to 11:30AM with a family break, resuming the Celebration from 12:30PM to 1:30PM. A burial at Pine Grove Cemetery in Concord, NH will follow.
