Darline Bernice Smith

She was born in Somerville, Massachusetts, on November 1, 1947, the daughter of Walter E. Owen and Frances (McKenzie) Owen. She was raised and educated in Derry, NH. She graduated from Pinkerton Academy in 1965.

In her early years she worked for a Shoe Manufacturing Co., and a Chocolate Factory in Mass. She also worked as a dedicated LNA at Birchwood Nursing Home in Derry, and at Epsom Manor, until her illness.

Her husband Robert Smith died in 1987. She was also predeceased by her mother Frances Owen in 1985. She is survived by her father Walter E. Owen of Loudon; a son L. Michael Buzzell and his wife Jennifer of Candia; a daughter Cristy Lebron of Haverhill, Mass; a sister Mary Rowell of Danbury; a brother Walter J. Owen of Pittsfield; nieces and nephews. Grandchildren: Tamrah, Tanisha, Tiffany, Joseph, Tasha and Taylor Lebron. Katelyn and Madison Buzzell of Candia.

In her life she was a strong believer in The Catholic faith. She also enjoyed times spent with family, especially her grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 11-1 pm at The Bennett Funeral home at 209 North Main St., Concord with services at 1pm, followed by a graveside service at St. John’s Cemetery in Allenstown.
