George Monticone

Born in Wilmerding, PA, he was the son of Stephen Monticone and Rosa (Rosso) Monticone.

George was a member of the Destiny Christian Church.

George was a dedicated career military veteran serving with US Army during WW II, serving in the Army Air Corps. and then serving 27 years in the U.S. Air Force Strategic Air Command.

George was also a devoted husband and family man, who enjoyed travel and adventure with his wife of 62 years.

George leaves behind his two sons Stephen and his wife Lyn Monticone of Concord, NH, Robert Monticone and his wife Norma of Humble Texas; two daughters Beverly Paquin of Hudson and Janet Irwin also of Hudson; seventeen grand-children; thirty one great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by two sons, George Monticone and Freeman Rice.

Calling hours will be held Monday May 12th, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Bennett Funeral Home 3 Church Street Chapel (the Brick Building) in Concord.

A Celebration of his life will be held Tuesday May 13th, at 1 p.m. at the Bennett Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at 2:30pm at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to NH Veterans Cemetery Assoc., Inc.
