

JOHN A. BUTTERFIELD OBITUARY
John A. (Jack) Butterfield, age 76, of Lovejoy Road, Loudon, NH died very peacefully on July 25, 2012 at his home. He was born in New Bedford, MA and was the son of Arthur and Irene (Teal) Butterfield. He graduated from Lowell High School in Lowell, Massachusetts in 1953 and served in the Air Force in Labrador and Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
A former resident of Reading, Massachusetts, he moved to the Concord area in the 1960's. He worked at Universal Packaging in Bow, NH for 39 years before retiring in 1998.
He was a Red Sox and Patriots fan and for many years enjoyed spending time at the beaches from Maine to Cape Cod. He was an avid carpenter, and repairing things was his hobby.
Survivors include: his wife Martha Butterfield of Loudon, NH, his children Deborah Ouimette of Candia, NH, Michael Butterfield of Lee, NH, Daniel Butterfield of Merrimack, NH, Richard Butterfield of Methuen, MA, Kelly Lewis of Hopkinton, NH, Cameron Sargent of Concord, NH and Lori Wescom of Loudon, NH, his sister Shirley Hanson of Pelham, NH, as well as several grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is to be held on August 4th at 11:00 a.m. at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Concord, NH, followed by a reception at the nearby 3 Church Street Chapel (the Brick Building).
