John Maurice Ouellette Jr., 83, of Hooksett, New Hampshire, passed away on April 12, 2026. Born November 7, 1942, John will be remembered with deep respect for a life marked by steady devotion, hard work, and enduring love for family and home.
John was a proud graduate of Franklin High School, class of 1960, and carried forward the values of commitment and perseverance throughout his life.
For 42 years, John dedicated himself to Webster Valve/ Watts Regulator, beginning his career working on the floor and, through diligence and capability, advancing to operations manager. In that role, he helped guide the design and manufacturing of water quality valves and systems—work that reflected his reliability, practical leadership, and long-standing sense of responsibility.
John shared a life of companionship and adventure with his wife, Lorraine, and together they traveled extensively throughout the United States and enjoyed cruising throughout the Caribbean. He also found simple, lasting pleasure in the traditions of New England sports—faithfully following the Celtics, Bruins, Patriots, and Red Sox—and in time spent on the golf course.
John is survived by his daughters: Dianne Hopkins and her husband Scott of Athens, TN; Linda Lauderdale and her husband Jeff of Concord, NH; and Sally Ouellette of Concord NH. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Alyssa Hopkins, Andrew Lauderdale, and Tyler Lauderdale; and his great-grandchildren, Raiden Lauderdale, Greyson Lauderdale, Levi Lauderdale, Astraea Lauderdale, and Rose Lauderdale.
He was predeceased by his wife Lorraine; his parents, John and Anna Ouellette; and his sisters, Joan Stevens and Patricia Lehto.
