John F. Schwartz

John was born in Springfield, VT on November 15, 1946, the son of Constance R. and Herman V. Schwartz. He graduated from Springfield High School in 1964 and from the University of Vermont in 1968, an active member of Delta Psi Fraternity. He was an accountant at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital for over 30 years, retiring in 2011.

He is survived by his wife Caron Schwartz, a daughter Katrina Schwartz, a stepson Matthew Murphy and his wife Corey and their children, a stepdaughter Carla Howe and her husband Matthew and their children, a stepdaughter Meredith Moreira and her husband Matthew, a brother James Schwartz and his wife Barbara and nieces Sarah and Rachel.

John’s love of the Lord was foremost and he was committed to his church serving in many capacities along the way. He was deeply devoted to his family, friends and always loved being a godly servant to others. He will be greatly missed.

Calling hours will be held on Weds, August 1, 2012 from 4pm-7pm at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Concord.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 11am at Faith Community Bible Church, 334 North Village Road, Loudon.

Burial will take place Peninsula Memorial Park in Newport News, VA. on Monday, August 6 at 1:00 P.M.
