Kevin graduated from Bow High School and was studying computer science at the University of New Hampshire and New Hampshire Technical Institute.
He is survived by his parents, Raymond and Nicola (Lemmen) Whitley formerly of Bow, NH, his sister Hannah Whitley from Boston, MA, his paternal grandmother, Lorraine Whitley of Salem, NH, his maternal grandparents, Charles and Barbara Lemmen of Canaan, CT, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Kevin was passionate about exotic cars and was quick to share his vast knowledge of the topic with friends. He loved long boarding and snowboarding, playing video games, hiking trips that included the 4000 footers in NH as well as local hikes on Oak Hill in Concord.
Kevin was a sensitive young man who loved children especially those enrolled in the Bow Rec Summer Camp. His kind heart was exemplified by his desire to donate his organs so that others may live. This gesture will sustain life for several donor recipients.
Friends and family are cordially invited to attend visiting hours from 6PM until 9PM on Thursday, July 16th (TODAY) and a memorial service on Friday, July 17th at 10AM. Both services will be held at the Concord Unitarian Universalist Church located at 274 Pleasant St, Concord, NH. Due to limited parking for the funeral at the church on Friday, friends are encouraged to carpool.
A private burial with the family will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kevin’s memory may be made to the Audubon Society of NH, 3 Silk Farm Road, Concord, NH 03301.
Arrangements under the direction of Bennett Funeral Home, Concord, NH.
