

Born in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of Orazio and Christina Vadala.
Lillian came from a large Italian family. After traveling extensively throughout the U.S., Lillian and her husband settled in New Hampshire. They had just celebrated their 66th Anniversary this year.
A feminist before her time, her favorite quote was “I don’t do guilt or windows.” She was known for her impeccable style, her smile and sense of humor. Lillian was an avid seamstress, enjoyed knitting and was known as a fabulous Italian cook.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 66 years, William Kuhlman of Concord; three daughters, Barbara Kuhlman Brown of Concord, Christine Kuhlman-Hamilton of Concord and Stephanie Kuhlman of Cumberland Center, ME; three sisters, Grace Sicignano, Margaret Nascenta and Josephine Wingenbach; one granddaughter Danielle Dervin of Durham, NC; and one great grandson, John (Jack) Clemence Dervin also of Durham, NC .
A time of gathering will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 from 6:30p-7:30p at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Concord. A celebration of her life will follow at 7:30pm. Burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater NH Chapter, One Bedford Farms Drive, Bedford, NH 03110.
