Lula G. Knouse

LOUDON, NH - Lula Knouse, 43, was granted her wings on June 3, 2012. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Lula had touched in some small or great way out of her memorable life.

Those touched by Lula will cherish the memories created, understanding that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.

Her quick wit, sense of humor and courage brought great joy to all and taught us to face life’s challenges. Head on.

Lula worked at the Red Blazer as a Manager. She loved her time there and felt her co-workers were more than that, they were her family. Lula and her family were grateful for all of the support from the owners and staff at the Red Blazer.

Lula is survived by her mother Calliope Charcalis; husband Travis Knouse, children Emily and T.J.; her sister Joyce Cotnoir and her husband John; and brother Harry Charcalis and his partner Stephanie Bogalis; sister in law Michele Underwood and her husband Scott, her father and mother in law, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.

Lula was predeceased by her father George Charcalis.

Calling hours will be held from 5p-8p on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Concord.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11am on Friday, June 8, 2012 at Word of Life Christian Fellowship, 92 Old Loudon Road, Concord.

Lula had requested that everyone wear a “pop of color” to the celebration of her life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Dr., Ste 110, Bedford, NH 03110. Checks may be made to American Cancer Society in memory of Lula Knouse.
