Margaret M. Hoyt

Born to Joseph and Mabel (Boucher) Lafford in Medford, MA on October 9, 1928, Margaret was raised in Boscawen and graduated from Penacook High School in 1946. Margaret and the late Harlan Hoyt (2013) were married in 1955.

Margaret is survived by her sons, Timothy and his wife Carol, of Concord, NH, and Thomas and his wife Kimberly of West Lebanon, NH. She also leaves behind her cherished grandson, Ryan, of Nashua, NH. Additionally, Margaret is survived by her brother James Lafford of Dracut, MA, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Walter Lafford and sisters Teresa Mackinaw, Katherine Davis, and Blanche Bell.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Margaret's longtime caregivers, the staff at John H. Whitaker Place in Penacook, the medical team at Concord Hospital and Presidential Oaks, as well as the hospice care provided by Amedisys Home Health.

There are no calling hours.

A private funeral mass in celebration of her life will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Penacook where Margaret was a lifetime and dedicated congregant, followed by interment at Penacook Calvary Cemetery.
