Margaret was born on November 16, 1930 in North Mimms, United Kingdom to the late James Edward and Phyllis (Ridgeon) Potter.
Margaret enjoyed playing dominos, scrabble and was a talented knitter. She was and excellent cook and loved a good glass of chardonnay. Margaret was a loving, devoted enduring wife, and was devoted to Carl.
Above all spending time with her loving family was most important.
Margaret is survived by her sister, Janice “Jan” Whitley; niece, Lynn Alexanian and her significant other, John; great-nephews, Ryan and Tyler Alexanian all of Smithfield, Rhode Island. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her loving husband, Carl Stanton, and her sister, Beryl Hoddy.
A private burial will be at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, she will be laid to rest with her husband
