Marjorie E. Corbett

Marjorie E. Corbett, 87, died following a brief illness on Sunday, May 3, 2020 surrounded by family. She was born in Unity, NH on October 21, 1932 to Maude (Towle) and Harry Rudner. Mrs. Corbett grew up in Springfield, NH and resided in Epsom for most of her adult life.

Marjorie graduated from New London High School in 1950 going on to become a member of the Women’s Army Corps. Marjorie was an avid reader and enjoyed talking on the phone with her family and friends. She had a great memory for history and a strong interest in politics.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Corbett is predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Leon D. Corbett who died in 2016.

Members of her family include her daughters, Maureen LaClair of Concord, Linda Guimont and her husband, Jeffrey of Bedford and Janice Corbett and her fiancé, George Sapier of Loudon as well as five grandchildren, Brandon LaClair of Boston, MA, Abigail Guimont, Madeleine Guimont, Meghan Guimont and Lea Guimont of Bedford.

A private ceremony for immediate family will be arranged by Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street, Concord. Burial will be at the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
