Mrs. Mary Lou Russ

Mrs. Mary Lou Russ, age 85, of Concord, New Hampshire passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022. Mary Lou was born March 31, 1936 in Boscawen, NH. Her parents were Frederick L. and Mary I. Tinker (Knowlton).

Mary Lou is predeceased by her husband, Richard Russ; four brothers: Robert, Frederick (Sonny), Kerry, and Richard, and her sister Nancy Fitzpatrick.

Mary Lou is survived by her sister, Irene Bartlett; her daughter, Grace Malaby and son-in-law, Frederick Malaby; her grandchildren, Jennifer Gruber and her husband, Carl, Andrew Malaby and his wife, Heidi; and her great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Katie, and Daisy Gruber, and one "Baby Malaby" on the way.

Mary Lou worked at several jobs during her life as a secretary, including the State of New Hampshire, and JJ Newberry's, and at quality control at Sprague Electric.

Mary Lou liked antiquing and multiple crafts. She also created many wedding cakes.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 12pm to 3pm at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N Main St, Concord NH 03301. A Graveside Service will follow immediately after Calling Hours, at 3:30pm at the Blossom Hill Cemetery, 207 N State St, Concord NH 03301.

A Celebration of Life service for Mary Lou will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church at a later date. If you wish to make a gift in memory of Mary Lou, please send a donation to St. Paul's Food Pantry, 21 Centre Street, Concord, NH 03301.
