Nancy Jean Jenovese

She was born on March 14th, 1934 in Concord, N.H., where she and her brothers, Wilfred “Sonny”, Richard, and James were raised by their parents Dorothy (Lucia) and Wilfred Davison, Sr.

She was a 1952 graduate of Concord High School. Her yearbook praised her for being dependable, conscientious, and taking her studies seriously. She was elected to the National Honor Society in 1951 and 1952.

Following graduation she entered the job market. She held various positions with a number of Concord employers, but most significantly was employed by the State of N.H. for over 20 years.

Nancy was introduced to her late husband, Joseph Jenovese, by mutual friends. They married in 1982 and resided in Concord throughout their marriage of 42 years.

Nancy enjoyed reading and watching birds in her feeders, as well as square dancing, antiquing, and gardening with Joe. She loved animals, especially cats! Over the years she adopted 3 cats. Callie, Harlowe, and Camden. They were her cherished babies. She also enjoyed gatherings with her family.

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Jenovese, her parents Dorothy (Lucia) and Wilfred Davison, Sr., and her brothers Wilfred Davison, Richard Davison, and James Davison.

She is survived by her stepchildren: JoAnn Martin and her husband Gary of Concord, Laurie Abbott of Loudon, Robyn Ferguson and her husband Tom of Concord, and Jeffrey Jenovese of Manchester; her sister-in-law Carolee Davison, nephew Richard Davison and his wife Tracie, nephew Keith Davison and his wife Aja; 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.

Calling hours will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00AM with a memorial service from 11-12 on February 3, 2025 at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Concord, NH. A burial will follow at 1:00PM at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
