Nancy Ladd Treat

Nancy L. Treat, 73 of Dover, NH passed away on November 21, 2021 with her devoted daughter by her side. Nancy was born to Helen and Neal Ladd and grew up in Walpole, NH. She spent many years in Keene working at Markem Corporation and later founded Yankee Concepts, Inc with her husband. Nancy also spent time in Ossipee and Concord, NH. The final years of her career were spent at Comcast. Nancy's kind and gentle nature made her loved by all who met her. Her favorite things were her walks with her neighbor, girls’ nights out with her best friends, and spending as much time as possible with her treasured granddaughter Jocelyn. She was known for her broad crafting interests from quilting and ceramics to quilling and stained glass. Nancy was a talented flutist and music lover who loved to sing and dance at any opportunity. She is survived by her sister Joyce McAdams and husband Edward of Laconia, her brother Dennis Ladd and wife Margery of Bellows Falls VT, her daughter Kristie Perreault and her children of Manchester, her daughter Michelle Clancy and husband Thomas and daughter Jocelyn of Dover, as well as many stepchildren and step-grandchildren. Nancy is predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Douglas H. Treat. Michelle and her family wish to give special thanks to their friends who supported them during Nancy’s Alzheimer’s journey, and to Nancy’s two very special caregivers. Services will be private, and she will join her husband at the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Nancy's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
