Patricia Ann Knight

Patricia Ann Knight, (87) of Northfield, NH has passed away on January 3, 2024. She is predeceased by her parents, Catherine (Heath) Rounds and George Rounds; her husband, William E Knight; her son Gregory Earl Knight, and her sister Eleanor Kimball.

Pat graduated from Andover High School in 1954 and attended Hesser College. She retired from the Army National Guard of New Hampshire after 32 years of service as a civilian payroll technician. Prior to working at the NHARNG, she worked at WMUR-TV, Concord Savings Bank and Beede Electric. After her retirement in 1998, she worked part time at the South Congregational Church.

She was a member of South Congregational Church since 1964 and has served as a church school teacher, a school superintendent, a deacon, bell choir member and served on many committees over the years.

During the years while her children were involved in scouts, she was the faithful secretary to Cub Scout Pack 295 and Boy Scout Troop 88, cooking many meals for overnights.

Pat was a 50 year member of Beta Sigma Phi and served all of the committees and offices. She was a member of Always an Adventure and enjoyed, many years of exercise for strong living. She traveled through New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine and also made trips to the Rockies. Some of her special trips were taking cruises in the Caribbean, Alaska, and some European countries with Bill.

She is survived by her son Stephen William Knight; her grandchildren, Kristine, Amanda and Meagan; her great-grandson, Jacob; and her brother Arthur Rounds and his wife Mary.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the South Congregational Church, 27 Pleasant St Concord, NH.
