Born to The Honorable Mildred (Seavey) Ingram (Acworth, NH) and John C. Ingram on May 24th, 1926 in Oxford, NE. Patricia grew up in Manhattan where she attended The Lennox School and The NY Professional School in NYC, and Simmons College in Boston, Ma. She made her Debut in NYC at the Waldorf Astoria and in her late teens, during World War II, toured the Pacific with the USO in the production of Dear Ruth.
Patricia is predeceased by her first husband, Bursley H. Titus of Boston, MA. She is survived by her five children, Laurie Davis of Tampa, FL, John Titus of Sanford, ME, Allison Cambrils of Loudon, NH, Diane Titus of Pittsfield, NH and Alexandra Wagaman of Palm Coast, FL; a granddaughter, Jennifer Niles of Cape Elizabeth, ME and a brother, Jean Ingram of Beaumont, TX.
In addition to raising her five children, Patricia became a Realtor after moving to NH. She was involved in state politics and gave to many charities benefitting people and animals. She was defined by many wonderful attributes, but mostly by her enduring faith. She wanted to have that front row seat to a miracle, but ultimately, was comforted in her unwavering belief that God was in complete control of everything, and that He held her hand as she journeyed through the valley of the shadow of death. She was a very special woman and will be sorely missed. Nothing can ever replace her or her loving warmth, sweetness and grace. Her children are just so glad God gave us to her in this life so we could know the true meaning of a mother's enduring compassion and love.
The family would especially like to thank all of the wonderful doctors, nurses and hospital staff at the Concord Hospital, the caring people at the NH VNA and Elaine Kidd for her thoughtful provision of homemade meals throughout this painful process.
A funeral service will be held at Chichester United Methodist Church, 2 Canterbury Rd Chichester, NH on Saturday, September 9th, at 10AM with Pastor Tim Smith officiating. A reception will follow next door at the Parrish Hall. Interment will follow in the Acworth Cemetery, 48 Hill Rd Acworth, at 2PM. The family suggests that memorials may be made to your local Humane Society or the charity of one's choice.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at https://www.BennettFuneral.com for the Titus family.
