Peter Douglas Muise

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter Douglas Muise, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend. Peter was born on March 9th, 1968, and he peacefully departed from this world on August 16th, 2023, while engaged in one of his favorite activities, SCUBA diving, in the serene surroundings of Aruba, far from his home in Epsom, NH.

Peter was a man of many passions and talents, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of those fortunate enough to have known him. He was an avid hunter and gatherer, finding solace and joy in the great outdoors. His love for nature extended to his role as a former Scoutmaster in the Boy Scouts of America, where he imparted invaluable life skills and character to countless young scouts.

A dedicated family man, Peter invested years as a coach for his children's sports teams, nurturing not only their athletic talents but also teaching the values of teamwork and determination. He found immense pleasure in cooking, his culinary creations often bringing family and friends together. Peter's artistic spirit thrived through his passion for painting, creating beautiful canvases that captured the essence of his surroundings.

A mentor to many, Peter touched lives far beyond his immediate family. His wisdom, guidance, and unwavering support inspired others to achieve their fullest potential. As a father, he was deeply devoted to his children, Nicholas, Katherine, and Samantha Muise, guiding them with love, encouragement, and the invaluable lessons he had gathered through his own life experiences. His enduring partnership of 30 years with his wife, Michelle Muise, stood as a testament to their love, strength, and unwavering commitment to one another.

Peter's dedication to public service extended to his ownership of a firearms business, where he supported local law enforcement and military personnel. His integrity and sense of duty were evident in his primary occupation as a Senior Network Engineer at Nokia, where his expertise was highly respected.

Peter Muise's legacy lives on in the hearts of his loved ones, his cherished family, including his brothers Michael and Thomas Muise, and the countless individuals whose lives he touched throughout his remarkable journey. As we remember and celebrate his life, we are reminded of the profound impact one person can have on the world.

Peter Douglas Muise will forever remain in our hearts, a shining example of the enduring power of love, kindness, and selflessness. May he rest in eternal peace.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday August 25, 2023 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Bennett Funeral Home 209 N Main Street Concord, NH.
