

Priscilla E. Nerbonne, 87, of 200 Pleasant Street died at Presidential Oaks Assisted Living Home in Concord while watching the Nevers Band Concert, on Tuesday, August 6, 2013.
She was born in Concord on March 24, 1926. Priscilla was the daughter of Thomas and Claramay Edwards.
Priscilla graduated in 1946 from Colby Junior College in New London with a medical secretary degree and also was a timpanist in the orchestra and a member of the music club. She was a graduate of Concord High School where she also was a percussionist in the band.
Priscilla worked for Dr. Shields and for Dr. Rainie as a medical assistant/secretary. She also gave private piano lessons to students throughout Concord for 25 years, as well as taught piano at Horizons Edge Private School in Canterbury.
Priscilla was a secretary to the Capital City and School Street Lane Bowling Leagues. She was a longtime member of the United Baptist Church where she was an assistant organist. She also served on the Music Committee, the Kings Daughters and taught Sunday school.
Priscilla enjoyed music, bowling, golfing, watching the Red Sox and attending family gatherings.
She was a member of the Concord Music Club where she served on several committees.
Priscilla was predeceased by her husband John Nerbonne who died in 1972 and a sister, Olive Edwards who died in 1965.
Her family members include her two sons, Thomas Nerbonne; Robert Nerbonne and his wife Lori; three grandchildren, John, Katelyn and Lindsey; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves her companion of 38 years, Richard Smith.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 from 6pm-8pm at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Concord.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 10am at South Congregational Church, 27 Pleasant St., Concord. A funeral procession will follow to Blossom Hill Cemetery for burial.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Priscilla’s memory to Presidential Oaks, Third Floor Assisted Living, 200 Pleasant Street, Concord, NH 03301.
