

PLYMOUTH NH- Robert H. Dragon, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Speare Memorial Hospital, in Plymouth, NH, after a sudden illness.
Bob Dragon was born on July 13, 1937, the son of the late Henry J. and Alice P. (Gilbert) Dragon-Preston form the Penacook / Concord area.
He was a veteran and served in the United States Air Force for 7 yrs in Military intelligence from 1956-1962.
Moving to Plymouth in 1967 Bob made this area is home and was known by all locally as well as the surrounding lakes region. He severed for many yrs on the Plymouth Planning Board.
Bob attended Plymouth State College where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and a Master’s degree in Business administration. He also student taught at Plymouth regional High school in his early years for accounting and business.
Bob loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, Sporting Events as well as tending to his yard and property in which he took great pride.
For over 45 years, Bob owned and operated his own business, Chestnut Hill Sales in Plymouth, NH for retail manufactured homes. He was cited for many awards over the years for both sales and services in this industry. He was always known for going the “extra mile” and “doing the right thing “in all his endeavors both in business and personal pursuits.
He will always be remembered as a “true gentleman” by those who knew him.
He is survived by his loving family, his son, Robert J. Dragon of Hebron, NH and his granddaughter, Victoria Dragon
His daughter, Alicia Triplett of Auburn, NH, his son-in-law, Wayne Triplett, his granddaughter, Ava Mary Triplett and his grandson, Caleb Triplett and his former wife of 39 years, Mary L. Dragon of Plymouth, NH
The Dragon/ Triplett Family would like to thank everyone who has sent their condolence and has reached out to remember Bob. He will be greatly missed by both family and the community.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be held privately. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 7, 2015, 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 9 Bonney Street, in Penacook, NH. Committal prayers and military honors will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, in Penacook.
