Robert E. Sanborn

He was born in Concord, the son of Donald and Ruth (Wirrell) Sanborn. He worked for 30 years at the Post Office before retiring in May of 1987.

He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Pauline, who died in December of 2010, and his only brother, Donald, Jr.

He is survived by three daughters, Karen Condran of Hooksett, Valerie Hoffman and her husband, Brian, of Concord and Nancy Swenson and her husband, Eric, of Concord; a sister-in-law, Patricia Sanborn of Bethlehem, NH, six grandchildren - Michael and Zachary Condran, Ben and Annie Hoffman, Lindsey Heath and her husband Kris, and Courtney Swenson, as well as three nephews, David, Jonathan and Jim Sanborn.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 15 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main St., Concord, with a service held immediately after.

Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association Hospice Program, 30 Pillsbury St., Concord, NH 03301.
